We need your help. Plain and simple.
Would you consider serving God with your talents in The Grove? Below are some current opportunities. We simply ask for a background check and that when you volunteer you still participate in the corporate worship service that Sunday. For example, if you volunteer to help in Junior Worship during the 9am hour, you would attend corporate worship during the 10:30am hour. We desire for you to be able to grow spiritually through learning and serving. If you have questions please feel free to email or call me. email@example.com
Parent Volunteer Schedule
Check out the schedule and email Mrs. Mindy (firstname.lastname@example.org) the weeks you are available to help in your child’s class.
Nursery – Toddlers Classroom Aide:
In the nursery, you have the important job of loving the youngest children in our church family. It is also a great ministry to the parents who now have an opportunity to attend “Big Church” without worrying about their little people. Interested? Email Mindy Wells email@example.com to plug into an open week.
Preschool – Elementary Classroom Aide:
Each of our classrooms have committed teachers who prepare the lessons and activities each week. The classroom aide simply assists the teacher with odds and ends in the classroom. The additional adult in the room is very helpful. This allows for more individual attention during the lesson time and extra hands during activities. The classroom aide can be Sr High and older. Email Mindy Wells firstname.lastname@example.org to plug into an open week.
This position commits to serving each week for two months (this helps with recognizing families and welcoming new faces) and then has a break for two months. The Check-in Station Attendants welcome families and check in the children at The Grove. A general working knowledge of computers is also required for this position. Check-in Attendants must be adults.
The check-in greeters work closely with the check-in attendants. These individuals are familiar with the location of classrooms and comfortable walking new families to the appropriate rooms. A friendly smile and love of people is a must for this position. Greeters must be adults.
Kids Life Activities Aide:
The Kids Life Activities Aide assists the Children’s Ministries Director during, you guessed it, Kids Life on varying evenings. The Activities Aide can be Sr High and older. Age range: 1st-5th Grades
On a rotating basis, we are looking for families to volunteer to bring healthy-ish snacks to Kids Life (nights vary).
Life Groups Kidsitter:
As the launch of Life Groups is upon us, there will be groups that will require child care. If you are interested in watching little people during a Life Group meeting we can match you up with a group. The Life Group is responsible for coordinating child care and compensation, as needed, with the kid sitter. Age range: Varies by group
