See you next summer!
Vacation Bible School has concluded for this year. Check back in the spring for details about next summer’s adventure.
What is VBS?
Vacation Bible School, or VBS, is a fun-filled program that our church offers during the summer (“vacation”) months, to connect with the children and families in our community. We learn new songs, play games, create crafts, and eat snacks. Kids use their imaginations and have blast taking in all the decorations that take our theme for the week to the next level.
We create a friendly and safe environment where kids can explore the love of Jesus and make friendships with those in our community. Families are required to register their children for our program (registration information here); only adults listed on the registration are allowed to take a child home with them. In other words, we strive to ensure that all our visiting children go home with the right family at the end of the day. After registration, all the doors are locked so that unknown individuals are barred from walking freely through the building. Should you need to pick up your child early from our VBS program, you are welcome to approach our main entrance and ring the doorbell for assistance. But, make sure you have your family claim card.
Vacation Bible School is an outreach meant to interact with children who don’t normally attend church and to teach them the gospel. As an evangelistic tool, VBS helps our church family fulfill the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19). We intentionally share the love of Jesus each day from the lesson to the music. We want each child to know he or she is made by our omnipotent Creator and loved deeply by our sufficient Savior.
