Healthy Kids

We want nothing less than to serve and love your family. Which means, we desire to help you and your family stay healthy while visiting our classrooms. Classroom teachers may ask if you have performed a self wellness check (see list of symptoms below) on your child prior to arriving at the classroom door.

In order to provide a healthy home away from home for your children, consider these common-sense reminders regarding the illnesses that may be present in your home. Children exhibiting these symptoms listed below may NOT be admitted into the classroom.

After checking in, if a classroom teacher or classroom assistant observes any of the following symptoms, your child will be removed from the group. Additionally, you will be required to immediately pick up your child from the classroom.

Every Day Considerations Why An Infant or Young Child Should Not Attend Sunday School:

Rash: Bodily rash, especially with a fever or itching, lice or nits.
Diarrhea: 3 or more watery stools in 24 hours
Eye infection: thick mucus or pus draining from the eye
Sore throat: with fever or swollen glands
Unusually not feeling well: Unusually tired, pale, lack of appetite, chills, confused or cranky
Fever: Temperature of 100 or more
Cough and/or runny nose: Unless explained by allergies.
