  • Who is Kids Life Bible Bee for?
Children entering grades 2-6 in the fall of 2020. Additionally, students entering Kindergarten through 1st grade are welcome to join us, if a parent or guardian stay for the duration of our sessions to assist your child.
  • What is Kids Life Bible Bee?
Kids Life Bible Bee is what I call our local summer study. We meet once a week during the summer to review the week’s study materials. Children complete daily activities in their Discovery Journal and memorize Scripture based on a theme determined by the National Bible Bee organization.
  • When does Kids Life Bible Bee meet?
We will meet on Thursday mornings (June and July), 10:30 a.m. to noon, in The Grove. We will review our study materials, play games, make crafts, and share lunch together (brown bag from home).
  • Is there a cost?
Each participant will need his or her own Discovery Journal.
Registrations before May 17. A downloadable/printable version starts at $25. A bound hard copy starts at $30.
Typically, the cost of these journals increase as we get closer to the start date — per the distributor.
  • What will we do during Kids Life Bible Bee?
Once the study materials are released, I will begin planning our weekly activities (I do not have access to the Discovery Journal before you do). In general, we will review the weekly theme, and then play games, do crafts and other activities related to the weekly study topic.
  • What is Proclaim Day?
Proclaim day is the culmination of all the hard work the children have done over the summer. It is a competition day complete with lightning quizzes, memory verse recitation, and other way to test and proclaim their knowledge of Scripture.
  • When is Proclaim Day?
Sunday, August 2 … Time TBD, but it will be after church.
  • What is the National Bibe Bee?
Bible Bee is a national program that kicks off with a summer study. Then, participants have an opportunity to compete at a national level. For more details about the Naional Bible Bee visit
  • Should I sign up for National Bible Bee or Local Bible Bee?
This is up to you. If you think your child will want to qualify to take their competition further you will need to register for the National Bible Bee. Most of our kids simply choose to participate in the local Bible Bee.
  • Can parents stay during Kids Life Bible Bee meetings?
Children entering grades kindergarten and first grade (fall of 2020) MUST have a parent/guardian stay during our meetings. Additional parents are invited to stay and volunteer. It is helpful to have extra pairs of hands for our activities. Please contact Mrs. Mindy to sign up for a session to volunteer at.
