Thinking Deeply …
Have you ever felt like Jeremiah? Have you ever wanted to say to God, “But that’s not fair”? Jeremiah felt that people who were making wrong choices seemed to not have to face any consequences. He also felt some people were saying they followed God, yet their actions showed differently. God heard Jeremiah and answered him. God reminded Jeremiah that He does see everything, to keep placing his trust in Him, and to understand God is a God of compassion.
Jeremiah was responsible for only his actions. You are responsible for only your actions. What do your attitudes and actions say to those around you?
