Sincere means true, genuine, and honest. Some of the people in Ephesus were following teachings that went against God’s Word, and false teaching still happens today. Having a sincere faith in Jesus means we believe, trust, and choose to follow Him. The devil wants us to believe we’re not good enough, but look at Paul – he is the ultimate example of someone whose life was transformed because of God’s grace through Jesus. Know the truth by spending time in God’s Word and through prayer, your faith will grow stronger.
Living a life of sincere faith is as simple as being thankful for His love and sharing it with others. Reread 1 Timothy 1;5 and show others that kind of love this week.
